Bath Bomb - Rhonda and Iliana
Materials:
- 1 cup Baking Soda
- ½ cup epsom salt (optional)
- ½ cup corn starch
- ½ cup citric acid
- 1-2 tablespoon Water
- 4-6 drops Food colouring (Optional)
- 6 drops of Coconut or essential oil (Optional)
- Measuring Cups
- Bowl
- Moulding trey (Any kind)
Method:
- Add the baking soda, epsom salt, cornstarch and citric acid into the bowl.
- Stir.
- Add 6 drops of coconut or essential oil (optional).
- Pour about 1-2 tablespoon of water.
- Add 4-6 drops of food colouring.
- Stir.
- Place the mixture in a mold(Any type of mould) and flatten the top with the palms of your hands.
- Leave it to set for a while so that it can become hard.
- Take the bath bomb out of the bowl.
- Drop the bathbomb in water.
Hypothesis:
Rhonda: I think that when the bath bomb is in the water the water will overflow because of the bath bomb fizzyness.
Iliana: The bath bomb might fizz up in the water and will make the water colourful and satisfying to watch and have a nice texture.
